We have visited there several times and made the trek up to the castle. You should know that the ruin was used as a source of building materials for the town over the centuries. Don’t forget that there are buses runing along the Castle Road. That may help you get where you want to go. You like wine so if possable visit Kloster Eberbach which is south of Frankfort. No monks, just wines. All of the old buildings where the monks lived, worshiped, worked and made wine are there to see. They have a tasting room. Good luck on your trip. Roy Eberbach, Tucson, AZ.

Just wanted to let you know that I checked on your house last night … it is still standing. No floods, fires or earthquakes have occurred. Oh, and I was talking to Mom and she said that she figured out what she wants you to bring back from Germany for her … a “souvenier”. 🙂

Glad both of you are having a good time. The flowers must be coming out there. Went to the Cherry Blossom Fest on Saturday and saw the sunrise. Way too cold that early in the am. Froze my “heinie” off. Can you translate that into English? Love you, Dad
